Judge Rules Mueller Must Identify Unnamed Figures In Manafort Case

An Obama-appointed judge ruled that Mueller cannot keep his contacts secret in the Manafort case.

Everything is secret with the FBI (and the DOJ) it seems these days.  Almost as if they have something to hide...  - W.E.

An Obama-appointed judge shocked the courtroom on Tuesday when she ordered Special Counsel Robert Mueller to immediately reveal the names of people and organizations he claims acted as unregistered agents in the case against Paul Manafort.

As reported by UPI, U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson ordered the special counsel’s office to give Manafort’s lawyers the list of secret identities by Friday. Mueller claims the unidentified sources worked with Manafort to carry out an illegal money laundering scheme involving Ukraine. Mueller is fighting it, saying that it would be bad for the people who aren’t indicted.

Jackson also ordered Mueller to give Manafort’s legal team the identities of all other secret sources the special counsel claims Manafort tried to influence, which led to Mueller accusing Manafort of witness tampering last week.

Mueller was scheduled to be in court on Friday to answer for new charges that he tried to speak with witnesses about the case.

Mueller wanted the judge to revoke Manafort’s million bail and throw him in jail, but the hearing has been pushed back, given the judge apparently has grown tired of Mueller’s antics and refusal to be transparent.

Last month, Manafort, who briefly served as President Donald Trump‘s campaign manager during the 2016 presidential election, requested a hearing to address the historic leaks from Mueller’s office and how the special counsel refuses to provide evidence to his team so they can prepare a defense.

As detailed by Conservative Daily Post, Mueller indicted Manafort on a slew of tax and bank fraud charges from before he was involved with the Trump campaign. Manafort argues the charges against him are well-beyond the scope of Mueller’s job description, which is supposed to find so-called collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia during the 2016 election.

Mueller, who was appointed just over one year ago, has a specific job description outlining what he is supposed to be investigating: alleged Trump-Russia collusion.

If Manafort broke the law by committing bank fraud, tax evasion, or any other provable crimes, many would agree he should face those charges and have his day in court. But that has nothing to do with Mueller, his office, or why he was appointed. In fact, the charges are from supposed activities years old.

Why is Mueller charging Manafort for crimes completely unrelated to alleged Russia collusion?

Mueller has been leading his witch hunt for a year, and has not produced a shred of evidence against Trump pertaining to any illegal activities or collusion with Russia. He is basically trying to save face by indicting anyone or anything, including a Russian company that didn’t even exist during the election.
