Braveheart and the Establishment Republicans

As a lifelong republican and major donor to the republican party, I wanted to share a few thoughts with you.
Braveheart, starring Mel Gibson, is at the top of most lists for the favorite movie of the American male. As you remember, the movie depicts the history of Scotland. For hundreds of years, the English had raped the daughters and killed the sons of Scotland. At the time of William Wallace, there was a particularly evil English king, Edward the Longshanks. Longshanks was a brutal dictator who cruelly subjugated the Scots. The Scots were literally slaves to the state with no hope and no freedom.
Periodically, the Scots would form an army and rebel against the English. Each time they took the field of battle, the Scottish Noblemen, whom the peasants believed represented their interests, would intercede with the English. Even though the Scottish army was a formidable force, their Noblemen would meet with the English and surrender in exchange for land and titles.
Does this sound familiar? I am suggesting that the republican establishment is our version of the Scottish Nobles. Each time we conservatives gather for battle and elect an establishment candidate, our Nobles go to Washington and exchange our freedom for more land and titles for themselves.
We sent a majority republican congress to Washington this last election cycle. These aristocratic noblemen sent us back more Obamacare, more out of control spending, more eavesdropping on our phone calls and emails, more endless wars and so on.
I'm not just talking about Boehner and Ryan. My "conservative" republican representatives from Texas have voted for the National Defense Authorization Act that gives the president the power to arrest Americans that are only suspected of association with terrorists and hold them indefinitely without charges or right to due process.
My elected representatives have given the IRS the power to seize the passports of anyone they suspect may owe more than $50,000 in taxes. They have also given the state department the right to seize our passports. In either of these instances we have no right to face our accusers and defend ourselves. You may become a prisoner trapped in your own country.
Over the last several years, names have been placed on a "no fly" list without warning and with no recourse for their removal. This is freedom? No, this is serfdom.
William Wallace, played by Mel Gibson, had enough of the betrayal. I believe we constitutionalists here in America have had enough of the betrayal. We are looking for our William Wallace. We may have found him in Donald Trump.
Trump may be a mess but he's his own mess. He's got enough money to not be bought. He's got enough courage to not be scared. He mounts his stead and rides back and forth in front of those Americans who have had enough of the betrayal of the establishment republicans. He paints his face with angry words of vengeance and stirs the hearts of the betrayed. He gives us hope that we can take our country back from those who have stolen it.
Now, I'm not exactly endorsing Trump. But rather, I'm endorsing freedom and those of us who dare to be a William Wallace and stand against the establishment. Taking our country back from those thieves who allege to represent our interests will take millions of William Wallace's.
I believe there is reason for hope. I see rally's of those betrayed gathering in the ten's of thousands. I see mainstream figures like Phyllis Schlafly publicly speaking out against the establishment (here). Even public figures who have played their game, like Newt Gingrich, are calling out the ruse that they may have even once benefitted from (here). I see a bought and paid for mainstream media so outed that they look ridiculous in the light of day. I see an alternative media that is being read by millions today whereas there were only thousands yesterday.
We are living in a time of Longshanks. Hillary Clinton is a one-woman crime wave who has a trail of deaths that would make Longshanks proud. We now know that she is directly responsible for the death of our ambassador that was murdered in Benghazi. She is responsible for the debacle in Libya that has destroyed civilization in that country and led to the deaths of thousands of innocents and given terrorists a haven. I could go on but it is the establishment republicans who are providing "Longshanks" Clinton with the cover she and her global-orderists require to rape and pillage our country.
There may be even greater hope than we dare expect. The serfs that support the democratic candidates are also waking up to their abuse from their Noblemen. I'm reading that a quarter of Trump's supporters are democrats. There appears to be a great awakening. Millions of us are taking the field of battle, (politically speaking), against our rulers. We are supporting candidates on the virtue of simply being anti-establishment. My fear is that it may be too late.
In the movie Braveheart, the Scots have come to the field of battle by the thousands. As usual the Noblemen have gone to meet with the English to cut a deal. But Wallace riding his stead goes to the Scots and declares, "Sons of Scotland, you have come to fight as free men, and free men you are. And dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take our freedom!"
